Welcome to Oxford Academy! We had a very successful Back to School Night and I’d like to thank all of you for attending. We are looking forward to a rewarding year with the students. They will be the first class at Oxford to attend our new campus all year. I am proud to be the first principal of Oxford Academy! This is my 25^th year in education including 19 years as a teacher, 4 years as an assistant principal and this is my 2^nd year as principal at Oxford. We, at Oxford, are committed to creating a positive, safe learning environment program from elementary school to middle school. The Oxford staff wants to work cooperatively with parents and students to provide the education our students need to be successful in meeting state standards and becoming lifelong learners.

I would like to welcome you to Oxford Academy 2006-2007. I have worked in education for many years, the last 12 with HUSD. I have a varied background, which includes being a parent volunteer, PTA officer, instructional assistant and my current position as School Administrative Assistant. My responsibilities include student discipline, STAR testing, SARB (School Attendance Review Board), student activities, and site safety.
